About Our "Power of Eight" Group

Using the "Power of Eight" intention format by Lynne McTaggart, we intend for a happy future for the planet and for us.
During Lynne’s decade-long work on intention with prestigious scientists, she discovered an astonishing fact: when people carry out intention for each other in small groups, miraculous healings occur.
In our group we intend for global wellbeing on the planet and for all areas of our personal lives, that are fundamental for us to live our true natures and purpose in life, and to be our best selves in service to other people and to the world.
In “The Power of Eight” book, Lynne McTaggart reveals her remarkable findings from ten years of experimenting with small and large groups about how the power of group intention can heal our lives and change the world for the better.
When individuals in a group focus their intention together on a single target, a powerful collective dynamic emerges that can heal longstanding conditions, mend fractured relationships, lower violence, and even rekindle life purpose.
But the greatest untold truth of all
is

Background and Context

I started the ‘Power of 8’ group in March 2020 during the spread of the COVID-19 pandemics, at the start of the lockdown in London UK. It began as a closed circle of friends and gradually expanded.
Although the official name of the practice is called “Power of 8”, we do not need to be exactly 8 people to practice ~ it can work with groups of 5 to 12 people. When there are more than 12 people on a call, we do breakout rooms or split into smaller groups within a session.

It's a Safe Space
To create a safe container for the group members and to protect confidentiality of their intentions and personal data, we usually invite new members after they have done an orientation call with me.
On the orientation call we explain the ethos and the values of the group, as well as how we work.
New members attend an orientation call only once before they join. After the orientation call they are joining the regular intention sessions at 2pm UK time with the rest of the group members.

Request Intention
We are not a healing or prayer group, however we accept healing intentions for friends and family. You do not need to be a member of the group to request a healing intention. E-mail me from the green button below if you'd like to request an intention.
